"Bianchi's owner Salvatore Grimaldi to expand the new cafè-restaurant and bike store project
A new Bianchi Cafè & Cycles has been opened on Saturday, April 26 in Vasteras (Sweden), the city that welcomed Salvatore Grimaldi and his family when they moved to Sweden in early Fifties. It is the fourth Bianchi Cafè & Cycles launched in the Scandinavian country, after the ones in Stockholm (the first overall, opened since 2010), Sälen and Malmö, the latter presented five months ago.
The new Bianchi Cafè & Cycles is a bicycle shop and a cafè restaurant at the same time. Meeting people, beautiful bicycles, technology, selected food and drinks, Italian design and passion make every Café & Cyles a unique place. Whether you are looking for a bike or a perfect Espresso in a exclusive but warm and friendly place, Bianchi Café & Cycles is the answer. All the latest Bianchi high-end Road and MTB models like Oltre XR2, Infinito CV and Methanol 27.5 SL are available in the Bianchi Café and Cycles together with the full range of city bikes, accessories and clothing. The next opening in time will be a new Cafè&Cycles in Autumn 2014 in Milan (Italy).
Grimaldi’s entreprenaurial success started here, with patience, intuition and passion, always keeping alive the link with the city and its people: "The first Italians discovering Sweden, including my family, arrived in Vasteras. Here I grew up building my entreprenaurial career. In spite of its industrial vocation, Vasteras is a bike-friendly city, counting on several amateur teams. Bike is one of the main means of transportation here" Grimaldi commented during the presentation. More than five hundreds guests, including local authorities, Salvatore's relatives and friends and Bianchi members attended the event."
